This module, unlike previous modules, only provides resource materials that you may need to access, or minimally, be aware of as you work with your employer. The goal of this module is for you to be able to quickly link to a broad spectrum of resources. The module is broken into ten sections for your convenience and we hope that you will find it beneficial.

The information below and their component parts are not meant to be exhaustive, but rather to serve as a source of information applicable to adults with disabilities. There will be some duplication between pages as some information has relevance to more than one category. In most cases, we have provided you with descriptions of resources directly from the agency or organization; the descriptions are their own with few exceptions.

An excellent resource for a variety of services provided by the Department of Health and Welfare is the Idaho Careline (dial 211 or 800-926-2588). The web address is: http://www.idahocareline.org/. You will find more information about the Careline in Section 1. We would highly recommend Keys to the Future: A Resource Book for Parents of Children with Disabilities compiled and published by the Idaho Council on Developmental Disabilities. Though specifically directed towards parents with children with disabilities, it nevertheless is an excellent resource with broad ramifications.
